Leah's SuperChic Leg Warmers

Totally unique, these leg warmers are amazingly warm and comfy, and much more chic and stylish than the garden variety kind dancers wear. Once you get them on, trust me, you're not going to want to take them off. I love mine! Made from top-grade Kingwhale polar fleece, they're specially designed to curve over the top of your shoe and turn everyday footwear into sleek looking boots. And since they hug the leg, they keep your legs looking slim and trim. Slip them over bare legs, stockings, leggings, or skinny pants when you go outside. Slip them off when you go inside - or not! If you live in a cold climate, you have to try them. They're great!

Just a few of my current favs:

Amazon.com.This site is tops on my list since three of my books are readily available there. Aside from the newest, Does This Make Me Look Fat?, Amazon now carries the just-released paperback versions of Dress Like a Million...on Considerably Less and Dressing Rich. I'd been terribly frustrated when you asked for them and they were unavailable. Now, finally, you can get them! (All three books also available at BN.com.)

JJill.com. If you haven't seen their catalog, you must! Great casual clothes, put together with style and taste. Petites to Plus sizes. A best bet for those of you who want to look great even when hanging out at home.

EileenFisher.com. More great casual clothes (and some a little dressier) put together in unique ways. Wonderful and inventive color combinations. Petities to Plus sizes. The great thing about Eileen Fisher is that her shapes are similar from season to season, so if they fit you well you now they will fit you well next year too. Style wise most seasons are very compatible----take something from three years back and mix it with something current for a brand new look. Carried in most good department stores and Eileen Fisher stores. See site for addresses store addresses.

Landsend.com.Good quality basics. Love their bathing suits. Some pants come unhemmed--with enough length for you tall women. This is the site, incidently, that features the virtual makeover you may have seen on my "Does This Make Me Look Fat?" Oprah show.

Chicos.com. Casual easy-to-wear basics. Best thing here is their travel colletion. Nicely cut black pieces in wrinkle-free, packable fabric (acetate with a hit of lycra.) I own their "Travelers pants" and love them. Buy online or see site for stores near you.

SwimSlim.com.This site features the Miraclesuit line, swimsuits that claim to help you loose ten pounds in ten seconds---the time that it takes to put one on. The amazing thing is they work! They actually do contour your body and make you look a size smaller, mainly because of the high lycra content--about 33% (as opposed to the twelve or so percent you find in most bathingsuits.) Comfortable too, despite all that lycra. Definitely worth a look.

OneNest.com.Wonderful unique things from around the world at down-to-earth prices. Merch runs from fashion to art to home decor: Chinese hats and teapots, Indian Jewelry, African baskets, Moroccan pillows and lots more. A true feel-good cyber-bazaar. Great place for gifts.

Astaraskincare.com. This company is the baby of one of my dearest and oldest friends, Sunny Griffin. If the name is familiar, it's probably because Sunny was one of the top models in the sixties and seventies (and trust me, she still looks great!) Astara makes fabulous skincare products---used at some of America's best spas, also sold on QVC. I've been using the products for years and swear by them. They offer a great introductory kit of all products - a terrific way to get aquainted.
